My name is Annie Lacaille (She/Her) and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a midwife at Community Care Midwives. I was born and raised in the Outaouais region in Québec. I have traveled many parts of the world and discovered its beauty and diversity.
I have studied environmental sciences, Spanish studies, clinical western herbalism and finally decided to go for my all-time love for Midwifery. I adored the care of midwives during my 3 births in Toronto. I began the Midwifery Education Program at Laurentian University in 2015. During the program I did placements in Scarborough, Ottawa and Muskoka including placements with newcomers. I speak French, Spanish and Portuguese. In my free time I enjoy hiking and baking complex recipes with my family. I love trail running, yoga, meditation and playing music. Thank you for letting me be part of your pregnancy, birth and postpartum as I am honoured to be part of this very special moment. I am so excited to meet you and your family! |
